Details: Situated at an elevation of 3566 meters, Har-Ki-Dun is a cradle shaped hanging valley in one of the remotest places to visit in the Garhwal Himalayas.The valley surrounded by snow covered peaks and alpine forest flora is a treat for nature lovers and bird watchers alike. Day 1 - 13th December: Report to base camp Sankri Day 2 - 14th December: 14km drive from Sankri to Taluka (1900mts/6232ft). Trek towards Osla (2560mts/8400ft) Day 3 - 15th December: Osla to Har-Ki-Dun ( (3566mts/11700ft) - 12 kms/6-7 hrs. Day 4 - 16th December: Explore Har Ki Dun and surrounding sights – Jaundha Glacier / Morinda Tal / Ruinsara Tal. Day 5 - 17th December: Merry X'mas ! Har-Ki-Dun/Seema – Osla Day 6 - 18th December: Osla –Taluka 13kms (4 - 5hrs) – drive to Sankri Day 7 - 19th December: Drive from Sankri to Dehradun Trek fees : Rs 11,250 inclusive of taxes, accommodation from base camp to base camp, all meals, camping equipment, porter & guide fees and permits.
