Due to heavy rainfall, Ramdev and followers asked to get out of Gangotri

#Uttarakhand Yatra to Badrinath has been stalled in the wake of safety of the pilgrims as the Met department issued a warning of heavy showers from July 16 to July 18. The pilgrims bound for the famed temple have been asked not to go beyond Joshimath till further orders, said Chamoli District Magistrate S A Murugesan. Yoga guru Ramdev along with his 450 followers, including a sizeable number of children, were asked to return to Gangotri from Bhojwasa near Gaumukh by the Uttarkashi district administration on Thursday following reports of bad weather conditions. According to C Ravishankar, District Magistrate of Uttarkashi, directions were issued in 'normal course' not out of any panic.
