Rishikesh - Karnprayag complete survey of railway alignment


Dehradun : Rishikesh - Karnprayag railway project alignment has been finalized. 80 percent of the project is approximately 127 km long railway line will pass through tunnels. Total of 11 stations have been identified on this route.

   Secretariat on Friday at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna Rail Vikas Nigam Limited. Managing Director Satish Agnihotri given detailed information about the project. The alignment of the survey has been completed. 127 km length of approximately 80 percent in the project railway line passes through the tunnel. The total of 11 stations have been identified. These Virbhadra (Rishikesh new), Shivpuri, Vyasi, Devprayag, Mletha, Srinagar, stripe, Rudraprayag, Goltir, tangible and Karnprayag.
