Family of Sanjoy Joseph
The full name of Sanjoy Joseph is Sanjoy Joseph Mondal, he was born on 8th November 1991 in a Kolkata based very poor family, his father late Samar Mandol was daily wedges labor but his father expired just after 2 years of Sanjoy’s birth. His mother Rupali Mondol has brought up both the children alone, mother started working in the other’s home as a domestic help to send her kids to school.
The family situation was very hard to manage, so Sanjoy had started working in a private company just after completing his schooling, to help his mother.
Education of Sanjoy Joseph
Sanjoy has completed his schooling form St. Peter’s High School, and Collins Institute Kolkata, then he did his B.Com. correspondence from Karnataka open university due to the financial crises he had to work and support his family.
Ups and Downs of His Life
But Sanjoy always wanted to be an actor and make good money so that he could build his home to give to his mother. So, he started practicing dance, acting and went for many of the auditions to get a chance in the field of acting. But unfortunately he could not make that happen and got rejected from everywhere.
He always got responses from judges that keep learning and come for next season, many times he thought about learning from some institute or academy but he was unable to pay the fee or charges.
Occupation of Sanjoy Joseph
In 2009 he got a call from Mr. Maqsood Khan, who invited Sanjoy for the audition of one of his upcoming short films “Akhane Aadhaar”. And that time Sanjoy was lucky as he got selected as a co-actor in the short film, the film was also screened in the Nandan Film Festival.
After that he got a chance to work with one of the Bengali daily soaps as a negative character, his acting was pretty appreciated by the audience.
Then he got a chance to work with some of the top brands in the city, where his portfolio was done by many of the photographers.
During the period he kept working with the private company to help his mother; in 2018 he had participated in a fashion show, where he was the first runner up of Mr. Kolkata.
The incident changed his entire life and he started making TikTok videos and gained a very good followership. He collaborated with many of the known brands and started making a very handsome amount as a sponsorship. Then he left the job and became a full time TikToker.
Hard Time in Sanjoy’s Life
On 29th September 2020, when the app got banned in India by the government of India. He left hope and got into a high level of depression due to zero source of income and he was completely broken.

His girlfriend, now wife, had played a vital role in getting him out of the depression and helped him to reestablish himself in social media by joining Instagram and Josh App.
And now he is one of the prominent social media influencers from Kolkata and had already collaborated with many of the brands and even signed up a deal of 3 months with an Instagram program known as, “Born on Instagram Reels”.
