Kaman Singh Topwal is a New Zealand based entrepreneur and a very famous singer of Uttarakhand, he was born on 10th April 1974 in Tehri based Garhwali Kshatriya family. He has shared the stage with some of very prominent singer i.e., Garhratna Narendra Singh Negi, Meena Rana, Padamashri Pritam Bharatwan, Kishan Mahipal, and many more.

Where his father Mr. Khem Singh Topwal is a retired farmer and while mother Mrs. Gaini Devi is a perfect home maker, in early days of his life he went through many challenges and struggled a lot for his career in hotel industry.

His wife Mrs. Shobha Topwal is also a permanent citizen of New Zealand and is a co-founder of Surkanda Limited, where she is managing the internal part of his business, while his both son Ayush and Ismit are completing their studies.

He has completed his schooling from the Government Primary School in his villages and 12th standard from Chamba Inter College, Tehri Garhwali, but unfortunately due to the financial crisis of his family, he could not registered himself for higher education.

Because his family’s economical condition was not good, he started working in a Mumbai based hotel just after completing his schooling from Chamba Inter College, due to financial crisis he could not go for his higher education.
But after his continuous efforts and dedication, now he is a permanent resident of New Zealand and a successful businessman, he frequently visits his native place village Dikhol in Tehri Garhwal to support his family and relatives here in India, after successful management of “Surkanda Limited” a food and beverage company in New Zealand he decided to promote Uttarakhandi music there in New Zealand, for which he has started a music production house “Baduli Film Production”, here in India. It produces regional contents like, Garhwali, Kumauni, and Jaunsari songs.

He debuted in Uttarakhand music industry with his famous song “Syala Bhinna”, he is also an active member of Uttarakhand Association of New Zealand, which promotes the cultural exchange for both.
