Forest Research Institute: The Museums

The Forest Research Institute is an institute of the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education and is a premier institution in the field of forestry research in India. FRI also contains a museum on forestry. It is open from 9:30am to 5:00pm daily, which an entry fee of Rs15 per person and a nominal entry fee for vehicles. There are six sections in the museum

Kempty Fall

Dakpathhar is on the left bank of the Yamuna River and 28 km (17 mi) northwest of the city of Dehradun.Dakpathar is a wonderful tourist destination. Dakpathar is well connected by a regular bus service from the Doon valley’s parade ground and highway bus terminus (Dehradun). Due to less information it is mostly famous in locals, but getting international tourist attraction also.

Lachchiwala is famous outing destionation for tourist and locals, it situated 22km from dehradun on the way to doiwala. A river stream flows between the dense forest, with a beautiful view of forest you can enjoying swimming, and ground for kids to play, without any extra costing.
