Tapkeshwar Temple

Tapkeshwar Temple is dedicated to God Shiva.Tapkeshwar Temple, also known as Tapekshwar Mahadev Temple, is one of the most famous temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated by the forest side, the main shivalinga at the temple is inside a natural cave. Water drops from the ceiling of the cave trickle down over the shivalinga in a continuous downpour, making for an interesting spectacle.

Buddha Temple

The Tibetan community of Dehradun constructed the Buddha Temple as the replica of a Tibetan monastery in 1965. Buddha Temple was built to protect and promote Tibetan culture in India. The main stupa of the temple, about 220 feet in height, is built in the Japanese architectural style. It is claimed to be the largest reliquary in Asia.

Sai Mandir

Jwala Ji Temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga, located at an altitude of 2104 meter above see level in Benog Hill, Mussoorie. It is situated as a crown on the top of Benog Hill. As per Legends they say, Goddess Durga killed a Demon, who was molesting the saints and forcing them to pray him not God Shiva.

Chandrabani

Chandrabani is a temple is situated which is about 7 kilometers from Dehradun. Gautam Kund is a holy kund beside the temple where thousands of devotees come and take holy dip in the Kund. According to the legends Gautam Rishi drink the Holy river Ganga because his hut come in flow of the holy river. But then lets river flow as requested by Bagirath and some part of Ganga stayed with Maharishi Gautam.
